Module 1

With interactive demonstrations and practical learning, this cutting training workshop provides a solid foundation to those who need to refresh their skills or have just completed a hairdressing qualification and want to boost their confidence. The classes have a focus on practical work.

One of our expert educators will guide you through a live demonstration, reviewing classic cutting techniques.
4 Basic Haircuts

• Day 1: Hairdressing Fundamentals
• Day 2: Hairdressing Procedure
• Day 3: Solid Form Haircut
• Day 4: Graduated Form Haircut
• Day 5: Increased Form Haircut
• Day 6: Uniformly Layered Haircut

Entry Requirement:

• Diploma or Certificate of Hairdressing
• Mature Hairdressers with at least two years’ experience.

Format: Demonstration | Theory | Practical
Duration: 6 classes, Mondays only, 9.00 am – 5.30 pm
Intake: First Monday of every month

Awarded: Certificate
Cost: 21000/= payable in 2 installments
Tools Required: Haircutting Dummy(Long hair), shears or scissors - steel, texture shears, razors - straight or feather blades, clippers, trimmers, sectioning clips, wide tooth comb, baber comb & styling comb.

Colour Refresher Classes

Module 2

Professional Hair Coloring is a fundamental part of the hairdressing industry, many hairdressers choose to specialize in this technical and creative skill. This intensive 6 weeks class is designed for qualified students and current hairdressers wishing to refresh and advance their skills.

You will learn fundamental skills and techniques to create those show stopping colors for your customers. This class includes theory work, demonstrations and hands on workshop sessions. You will learn skills including root color, application, virgin application, half and full head of highlights and t-section techniques. A great confidence booster for those of you starting out in the hairdressing industry.

This classes can also be tailored for more any hairdressers starting out in color. Your tutor will assess your level and adapt the course to suit you. Both beginners and advanced classes include practice on live models. We use Professional colors throughout this classes.

Class Requirements: Human weave, tint brush, tint bowl, hair combs set, cutting cap, sectioning clips, foil, protective gloves etc.

You can begin hair coloring on clients straight after the classes or progress onto the 6 weeks Hair Cutting classes to learn professional cutting and gain an international qualification.

Swedish Body Massage Classes

Module 3

This is a must for any therapist who would like to add a full body Swedish massage to their portfolio, and covers theory as well as practical demonstration and practice.

Learn the art of performing a relaxing massage. Over the duration of the class you will cover health and safety, contraindications and theory of massage. In addition, massage mediums will be discussed before you receive a demonstration of a full body massage. Working on each other, you will then practice the techniques you have learnt.

• Day 2: Motor points of body massage
• Day 3: The Standard Massage
• Day 4: Massage techniques/procedure
• Day 5: Massage technique

Facial Refresher class

• Day 6: Electrotherapy and light therapy
